Laura Uberti Hughes

Laura Uberti Hughes is a restructuring associate in Bryan Cave LLP's St. Louis office, where her practice focuses on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy litigation and out-of-court workouts, in which she represents creditors, debtors and other significant parties-in-interest in complex restructurings and chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcies. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced corporate restructuring and bank- ruptcy law as an associate at another law firm in St. Louis. While in law school, Ms. Hughes worked as an intern at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Missouri. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri, before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, Southern District of Illinois and the District of Kansas, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Ms. Hughes receiver her B.A. summa cum laude in 2002 from the University of Notre Dame and her J.D. cum laude in 2008 from Washington University, where she served as an articles editor for the Washington University Law Review.
