Kevin Otus

K. Kevin Otus is a managing partner with Onyx Asset Advisors in San Francisco and is responsible for the overall operations of the firm. His responsibilities include negotiating, contracting, overseeing and reviewing all disposition and valuation projects, as well as coordinating all sales and marketing efforts.He has conducted or advised on over 200 dispositions. Previously, Mr. Otus was a senior managing director with Gordon Brothers Group, responsible for sourcing and evaluating opportunities for the firm’sCommercial & Industrial, Retail, Real Estate and Valuation practice groups; founder and president ofEmerald Technology Valuations, LLC, responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm; and president of Dovetech, Inc. He holds a Senior Member designation with the American Society of Appraisers and is a member of the Appraisal Foundation’s Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice(USPAP) and an executive board member of the Turnaround Management Association’s San FranciscoChapter. Mr. Otus received his B.S. in finance from the University of San Francisco.
