Kathlene Burke

Kathlene M. Burke is an Irish, English and U.S. qualified restructuring lawyer practicing in Dublin at Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP. She has represented debtors, creditors and equity-holders in large complex cross-border cases. Ms. Burke is the European Regional Director of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and is a delegate to the U.N.’s UNCITRAL Working Group V (insolvency) meetings. At the start of her legal career, she clerked for Hon. James M. Peck at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York during the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy. She also served overseas in the U.S. Army and is a decorated military veteran. Ms. Burke received her B.B.A. from the City University of New York Baruch College in 2005 and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2008.
