Joyce A. Kuhns is a principal in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring and Bank and Finance groups at Offit Kurman, P. A. in its Baltimore office. She is experienced at the national and regional levels in both litigation and transactions and provides critical advice to creditors, borrowers and debtors, boards of directors, trustees and regulators. Ms. Kuhns is currently on the board and is a former co-chair of the Greater Maryland Network of IWIRC. She has also been a member of ABI's Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Workshop advisory board and has served on the advisory boards for the ABI's Turnaround Lending programs/webinars. Ms. Kuhns is a board member of the William and Mary Law School Foundation. She frequently lectures to national and international trade groups on restructuring issues and has testified before Congress on key legislation in the restructuring industry. Ms. Kuhns regularly appears on The Best Lawyers of America and Maryland Super Lawyers lists in both restructuring and restructuring-related litigation. She received her J.D. in 1983 from the College of William and Mary.
