Jonathan R. Goldsmith

Jonathan R. Goldsmith is the managing partner of Goldsmith, Katz & Argenio, P.C. in Springfield, Mass., and has concentrated his legal practice in bankruptcy and commercial law, including the repre- sentation of debtors, creditors, trustees, financial institutions and creditors' committees, for nearly 30 years. His practice includes the representation of parties in cases under chapters 7, 11 and 13, as well as informal workouts. In addition, he serves as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee Panel member. Mr. Goldsmith has served as a panelist on a number bankruptcy programs, including programs for the Mas- sachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and ABI. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Hampden County Bar Associations and ABI and is a past chair of the Hampden County Bar Association's Bankruptcy Committee. In 2004, Mr. Goldsmith received a Massachusetts Volunteer Lawyers Service in recognition for his volunteer legal services provided to low-income in- dividuals, and in 2013, he was honored as the first recipient of the Massachusetts Bankruptcy Court Pro Bono Award for Western Massachusetts. Board Certified by the American Board of Certification in Consumer Bankruptcy Law, he received his B.S. from Boston College and his J.D. from Western New England University School of Law.
