John K. Olson

Hon. John K. Olson began his term as a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Florida in Fort Lauderdale in February 2006. Previously, Judge Olson was a shareholder for 18 years in the Tampa, Fla., office of Stearns, Weaver, Miller, Weissler, Alhadeff and Sitterson PA. He is a former chair of the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar and is currently chair of the Abuses of the Bankruptcy Process Subcommittee of the Business Bankruptcy Committee of the American Bar Association. Judge Olson graduated from Harvard College magna cum laude in history and from Boston College Law School in<br>1975, where he served on its law review.
