Jill M. Gies

Jill M. Gies is a trial attorney in the Office of the U.S. Trustee for the Eastern District of Michigan inDetroit, where she oversees the administration of bankruptcy cases and private trustees. She has been with the U.S. Trustee Program for 14 years. Previously, she worked for a small law firm specializing in the representation of chapter 7 trustees and institutional creditors. Ms. Gies received her bachelor’s degree from Hillsdale College and her J.D. from the University of Detroit-Mercy.
