Jeffrey Zapor

Jeffrey Zapor is a licensed professional counselor with Lyon Counseling Center in South Lyon, Mich.After completing a clerkship for the Franklin County, Ohio, probate judge in 2006, he opened a solo practice law firm that focused on probate matters and estate planning. Mr. Zapor was a practicing attorney for a number of years before making the decision to change careers. While in school, he interned at the State Bar of Michigan in the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program (LJAP). Upon graduation, he was hired on at LJAP and worked as a clinical case manager from 2017-20, at which point he focused his attention on running his mental health counseling center. Mr. Zapor has been published in the MichiganBar Journal and has given numerous presentations on the topic of wellness within the legal profession.He received his J.D. from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, in 2005 and his counseling degree in 2016 from Wayne State University.
