Jeffrey Finger
Jeffrey Finger is a managing director at Jefferies and co-head of its US Debt Advisory & Restructuring group in New York. He has more than 20 years of experience advising companies, boards of directors, financial sponsors and creditors across a range of industries in restructuring, recapitalization, liability management, financing and M&A transactions. Mr. Finger has advised on transactions aggregating over $70 billion of debt restructured and financing raised. His client matters have included Ambac FinancialGroup, American Airlines, Amtrol, Aspect Software, BCBG MaxAzria, CNL Hotels & Resorts, Danka Business Systems, Dendreon, Dura Automotive Systems, Eddie Bauer, Edison Mission Energy, EnergyFuture Holdings, Gibson Brands, Grupo TMM, Huntsman Corporation, Interstate Bakeries Corp., Ira-core International, Isola Group, JC Penney, La Paloma Generating Company, Lear Corp., Local InsightMedia, Readers Digest Association, Spiegel Group, Tronox and several other undisclosed engagements.Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr. Finger was a partner in the debt-advisory and restructuring group at Centerview Partners. Earlier in his career, he was a managing director at Miller Buckfire & Co., a former member of the financial restructuring group of its predecessor, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and worked in the investment banking division of Wasserstein Perella. Mr. Finger received his B.A. in economics from the University of Michigan and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
