Jake Miller

Jake Miller is a principal in the Chicago office of Oak Point Partners Inc. and has more than 20 years of principal investing and marketing experience. He specializes in purchasing the rights to the remnant assets in a bankruptcy estate, even in situations without any known assets of value remaining. Since helping to pioneer the remnant-purchase concept in 2006, Mr. Miller has been involved in the purchase of residual rights to over 300 bankruptcy estates of all shapes and sizes, including Advanta, Borders, Collins & Aikman, Fleming Companies, Hechinger, Heilig-Meyers, Refco, Service Merchandise, Tower Records and US Office Products. He is an alumnus of Northwestern University.
