Frank A. Oswald is a partner with Togut, Segal &amp; Segal LLP in New York, which he joined in 1986 following internships with the late Hon. Conrad B. Duberstein, Chief Bankruptcy Judge, and the Hon. Cecilia Goetz, Bankruptcy Judge (retired) in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. For more than 30 years he has focused his practice exclusively on bankruptcy, out-of-court restructurings and creditors’ rights matters, and has represented clients in all facets of bankruptcy cases<br>as well as insolvency issues in business transactions. Mr. Oswald has represented chapter 11 debtors, bankruptcy trustees, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, shareholders, distressed investors, defendants in avoidance actions, mediators and plan administrators, as well as landlords and tenants in bankruptcy cases, and entities seeking to acquire assets out of bankruptcy. He has been named a New York Super Lawyer every year since 2010 and is a member of the board of the Turnaround Management Association’s New York Chapter, a member of the ABI’s Health Care Committee, and a ranked lawyer in Chambers USA. Mr. Oswald is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, the Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his B.B.A. in management cum laude in 1983 from Baruch College, City University of New York, and his J.D. in 1986<br>from New York Law School, where he was a notes and comments editor on the New York Law School Journal of International and Comparative Law.<br>
