Francisco Marza

Francisco Marzá Tornel is is a senior associate in the restructuring practice group of Cuatrecasas in London. He joined the firm in September 2011 and previously worked in its Madrid and Barcelona offices. Mr. Tornel has experience in national and international debt-restructuring transactions, direct lend- ing and distressed situations representing investment funds, financial institutions and debtors. In recent years, he has participated in a variety of transactions advising strategic investors in their direct-lending investments in Spain, as well as creditors across the credit spectrum in their refinancing strategies. Mr. Tornel received his LL.B. in 2010 from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, his LL.M. in 2011 from the University of Aberdeen and his postgraduate degree in insolvency law in 2017 from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
