Daniel B. Denny
Daniel B. Denny is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and is a member of its Business Restructuring & Reorganization Group. He has a wide range of experience representing debtors, creditor groups and potential acquirers in distressed settings. He also has commercial real estate finance experience. Mr. Denny has worked from start to finish on various real estate mortgage and mezzanine loan workouts in and out of court, including UCC Article 9 collateral dispositions, mixed<br>collateral dispositions and chapter 11 bankruptcy. He has also represented major institutional lenders in connection with the origination and sale of construction and permanent mortgage loans, including the structuring and negotiation of intercreditor agreements, co-lender agreements and nonconsolidation opinions. Mr. Denny currently serves on the board of directors of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum. He received his J.D. magna cum laude in 2005 from the University of Notre Dame, where he served as executive managing editor of the Notre Dame Law Review.
