Christopher M. Samis is a partner with Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP in Wilmington, Del., where he focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, business restructuring and other insolvency-related matters. He represents debtors, official committees, individual creditors and other parties-in-interest in chapter 11 and chapter 7 bankruptcy cases before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Mr. Samis’s clients span a wide variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, restaurant, telecommunications, publishing, pharmaceutical, biotech, energy, finance, entertainment, transportation, real estate and construction. He also represents assignees for the benefit of creditors in the Chancery Court of Delaware. Mr. Samis has been recognized in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business since 2016, in The Best Lawyers in America since 2019 and in Super Lawyers since 2013.
