<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Charles A. Dale</strong> is a partner in Proskauer PC’s Corporate Department in Boston and a member of both its Restructuring and Private Credit Restructuring Groups. He has more than 30 years of experience in corporate reorganizations, debt restructurings and distressed investing. As a member of the Private Credit Restructuring Group, Mr. Dale’s practice focuses on direct lenders, ad hoc lender groups and lenders to special situations. He handles a wide variety of lender-side matters, from out-of-court restructurings, change-of-control transactions and foreclosures to chapter 11 reorganizations and § 363 sales. He also has represented publicly held and privately owned troubled companies in industries ranging from health care to mining, grocery, consumer products, retail and technology. Mr. Dale has served as a court-appointed chapter 11 trustee and frequently represents purchasers of financially distressed businesses. Recognized by <em>Chambers USA</em> in Band 1 of its rankings, he is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and has been named “Lawyer of the Year” three times since 2015 by <em>U.S. News Best Lawyers</em>. In addition, he has been recognized as one of the top 100 lawyers in New England since 2008. Mr. Dale has published articles and speaks frequently on insolvency-related topics, including debtor-in-possession financings, health care restructurings, intellectual property licensing in bankruptcy, director and officer liability, insurance and legislative developments. He received his B.S. with honors from the University of Dayton and his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law.</p>
