Carla O. Andres is a senior member of Godfrey & Kahn, S.C.’s Business Finance and Restructuring group in Green Bay, Wis., and represents publicly held companies, as well as institutional lenders and investors in a range of corporate and business law matters, including mergers and<br>acquisitions, contract negotiations, secured lending and commercial transactions, and bankruptcy and loan workouts. She was lead counsel on the first successful chapter 11 bank holding company reorganization and was counsel to the fee examiner and fee committee in national bankruptcy proceedings, including the General Motors, Lehman Brothers and Commonwealth of Puerto Rico<br>cases. Ms. Andres is a former Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and is a member of the Ohio and Wisconsin bars, the ABI’s Central States Bankruptcy Workshop Advisory Board, the American Bar Association and the Turnaround Management Association. She also is a former captain in the U.S.<br>Air Force, Dept. of the Judge Advocate General, and an Ironman. Ms. Andres received her J.D.<br>from Villanova University.
