C. Randel Lewis
Prof. C. Randel Lewis is a senior adjunct professor at the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver in Denver. He co-teaches the graduate-level capstone course in strategy and finance, the undergraduate capstone course in corporate financial theory, the one- and three-day executive education courses in strategy and finance, and national-level professional education programs in law and finance, and he is an occasional guest lecturer at the Strum College of Law at the University of Denver. He received the all-university Ruth Murray Underhill Adjunct Teaching Award. Prof. Lewis brings a deep understanding of and insight into business and legal strategy, particularly in financially or operationally difficult situations. He has experience in advising and mentoring clients in developing successful business solutions in highly contested environments. He serves regularly as a mediator, expert witness, consultant and a court-appointed fiduciary for distressed businesses and quasi-governmental entities. Prof. Lewis received his B.A. in economics from Colorado College and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and has completed coursework at the Center for Understanding Through Conflict (formerly Center for Mediation in Law), Columbia Business School Certificate of Business Excellence - Advanced Management Program, and the Teachers College at Columbia University Coaching Certification Program.
