Bradley M. Saxton is a shareholder in the firm of Winderweedle, Haines, Ward and Woodman in Orlan- do, Fla., and heads the firm’s bankruptcy and creditor’s rights practice group. His practice has involved representation in all aspects of bankruptcy cases; he has represented creditors in all cases, debtors in chapter 11 and 7 cases, creditors’ committees, chapter 11 trustees, chapter 7 trustees, asset-purchasers and preferential transfer defendants. His representations have covered numerous industry groups, in- cluding hotel and restaurant, real estate, citrus, golf, trucking and various manufacturing entities. Mr. Saxton also has devoted substantial time to his mediation practice, mediating all types of cases. He is a certified circuit civil mediator by the Florida Supreme Court, and he chaired a sub-committee of the local rules committee that drafted the local bankruptcy rule on mediation. He was appointed as one of the court mediators to mediate hundreds of cases in the Taylor, Bean and Whitaker case. Mr. Saxton is a past chair of The Florida Bar’s Business Law Section Bankruptcy/UCC Committee and a past president of the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association. He is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy issues. For several years, he has taught a course session for Prof. Jeffrey Davis’ Advanced Bankruptcy Course at the University of Florida College of Law, and he has served as an adjunct professor of law at the Florida A & M University College of Law, teaching its Bankruptcy Clinic program. Mr. Saxton has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, as one of Florida’s “Legal Elite” by Florida Trend magazine and as one of “Orlando’s Best Lawyers” by Orlando Magazine. He holds an AV-Preeminent rating by Martindale- Hubbell. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Saxton worked for the Martin Marietta Orlando Aerospace Co. (now Lockheed Martin). He began his legal career in 1990 in Orlando at the Maguire, Voorhis and Wells, P.A. firm, where he became a shareholder in 1997. After the firm merged with Holland & Knight, LLP in 1998, Mr. Saxton practiced with the Orlando office of Holland & Knight, LLP until 2001 when he joined the WHWW firm. Mr. Saxton received his B.S. in 1985 from Florida State University and his J.D. in 1990 from the University of Florida College of Law.
