Bhavesh N. Patel

Bhavesh N. Patel is a partner with Travers Thorp Alberga in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and is an experienced litigator specializing in commercial litigation, shareholder and company disputes, crossborder insolvency, and contentious trusts and private client matters. He has advised international clients on a variety of high-profile matters, including the Abraaj Group’s liquidation and the restructuring of Luckin Coffee, and he currently acts as Cayman counsel to Iriving Picard as Madoff Trustee. Mr. Patel is recognized and ranked in legal directories for commercial litigation, and is listed in Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite. He also serves on committees within INSOL and RISA Cayman. Mr. Patel received his M.A. with honors from St. Catherine’s College at the University of Oxford and is admitted to practice in the Caymans and the British Virgin Islands.
