Bethany Rubis

Bethany J. Rubis is an associate at ASK LLP in St. Paul, Minn., where she represents trustees and debtors in possession in preference analysis and litigation of avoidance actions. Prior to joining ASK LLP, she clerked for Marilyn J. Michales Family Law in Eden Prairie, Minn., and for criminal defense attorneys in the twin cities area. She also volunteered as a law clerk for the Cordoza Society and the Minnesota Justice Foundation Criminal Expungement program, both in 2013. Ms. Rubis is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Bankruptcy group, the International Woman’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation’s (IWIRC) New Lawyers Sections, and ABI. She received her B.A. in 2007 in psychology from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minn., and her J.D. cum laude in 2016 from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul.
