Andrea Wimmer

Andrea Wimmer is a managing attorney at Marco|Wimmer PLLC in Mesa, Ariz., a boutique firm spe- cializing in consumer bankruptcy and personal-injury matters. She practices exclusively as a consumer debtors' attorney and represents debtors in chapter 7 and 13 cases. In addition to her full practice, Ms. Wimmer is co-chair and treasurer of the Arizona Consumer Bankruptcy Counsel, vice president of the Arizona Bankruptcy American Inn of Court, and a member of the Arizona State Bar Bankruptcy Law Advisory Committee, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and ABI. She cur- rently serves on the District of Arizona Local Rules Committee as a member of its Uniformity Subcom- mittee and Chapter 13 Subcommittee. Ms. Wimmer has been published in the Quinnipiac University School of Law Probate Law Journal, the Bankruptcy Journal of the State Bar of Arizona's Bankruptcy Section and the Consumer Bankruptcy Journal, and has presented on a variety of consumer bankruptcy issues. Ms. Wimmer is originally from Austria and came to the U.S. to attend college and law school. She received her J.D. cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
