Alice Belisle Eaton

Alice B. Eaton is a partner in the Restructuring Department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York, where she advises creditor and debtor clients in corporate reorganizations and bankruptcies, with a focus on post-petition financings, exit financings and related transactions. Her re-cent company-side matters include advising Animal Supply Co., Preferred Sands, Expro Holdings, Performance Sports Group and Foresight Energy, and her recent creditor-side experience includes advising stake holders in TOMS Shoes, Neiman Marcus, PetSmart, Exide Technologies and Chassix. Ms. Eatonhas been listed in Chambers USA, Legal 500, The Best Lawyers in America for her work in Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law, and in Law360’s list of Rising Stars for 2011, which recognized her as a legal talent under the age of 40, notably in connection with the successful bankruptcies of Abitibi Bowater and CIT Group Inc. In addition, The M&A Advisor selected the restructuring of BPS US Holdings and its debtor affiliates (the Performance Sports Group restructuring) as its “Restructuring of the Year ($500M-$1B)” in its 10th Annual International M&A Awards, and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) awarded her its 2018 “Transaction of the Year:Large Company” award for her work on Performance Sports Group’s chapter 11 case, as well as its 2016“Turnaround of the Year: Mega Company” for her work on behalf of Chassix Holdings Inc. debt holders.Ms. Eaton received her A.B. summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1996 from Bowdoin College and her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1999.
