Alban Meteyer

Alban Meteyer is a vice president with Chiron Financial SAS in Paris and is head of its Financial’s European Investment Banking team. He has experience advising distressed and nondistressed public and private middle-market companies in Europe and the U.S. Additionally, he has worked with private-equity firms, family offices and other investors, credit funds, secured lenders, bondholders and other creditor<br>groups in national and multinational bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings. Mr. Meteyer has advised clients on raising debt and equity capital and the acquisition or sale of companies or operating divisions in a distressed and nondistressed environment. In addition to leading M&amp;A, private placement,<br>valuation and strategic advisory client engagements, he also spearheads new business development efforts in France, the U.K., Germany and the Benelux countries. Mr. Meteyer has an international banking background and engineering expertise specializing in energy transactions. He handles engagements<br>from the valuation of power contracts for large corporate customers to assessing the impact of regulation on cross-border businesses to credit risk and market analysis for a given client transaction. In addition, he has experience across a broad range of other industries, including agriculture, financial services, consumer products, manufacturing and legal cannabis. Mr. Meteyer was previously with Société Gé-<br>nérale Corporate &amp; Investment Banking in Houston, where he underwrote and monitored a portfolio of upstream oil and gas financing facilities. He also worked with Total and Engie (formerly GDF Suez), where he handled the valuation of power contracts for large corporate customers. Mr. Meteyer received his M.S. degrees from the Colorado School of Mines in mineral and energy economics, from the Institut Français du Pétrole in petroleum economics and management, and from the École Centrale Paris in general engineering.
