Alan T. Simpson

Alan T. Simpson is a trial attorney with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.  He previously served as a civil assistant U.S. attorney for the Western District of Missouri. Before joining the Department of Justice, Mr. Simpson was in private practice in Kansas City,  Missouri, with the Graves Garrett law firm and clerked in both federal district court and bankruptcy court. He received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Missouri and his J.D. with honors from Washington University School of Law.
